You Have a Choice to Stay In Overwhelm Or Move Past It 

Now, when you are aware that you are going into overwhelm, when you have given yourself far to many choices and feel the pressure of picking the “right” one, then it is time to act. 

You have to change your thoughts and your vocabulary

Your inner dialogue can easily keep you in a state of overwhelm as much as it can get you out of it. If you are repeatedly telling yourself that you are so overwhelmed, so stressed, so busy, have no time, then you will believe it. 

Stop, none of these comments help you in any way. Because, remember, overwhelm is a state of mind. Your brain went haywire, but your reaction to it will keep you stuck or get you out. The circumstances of your brain wanting to freak out, doesn’t mean that you don’t choose how you react to it. 

Make a Choice 

You have to make a choice and keep making them when overwhelm is triggered in your head. This helps train your brain that choices are being made and will be made, even in stressful conditions.
